Customer Terms

1. The agreement
These Customer Terms govern your use of the ComparEdge Pricing app for Atlassian Confluence, together with any updates to it. ComparEdge provides the app. You are the customer installing or using it.
By installing or using the app, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not install or use the app.
2. Your right to use the app
ComparEdge grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to install and use the app on your Confluence Cloud site for your own internal purposes, for as long as these terms are in effect.
The app is free of charge. ComparEdge may change, suspend, or discontinue it at any time.
3. What you may not do
You may not resell, sublicense, or redistribute the app. You may not copy, modify, decompile, or reverse engineer it except to the extent the law allows despite this restriction. You may not use the app to break the law or to interfere with Atlassian services or with ComparEdge.
4. Data and privacy
The app inserts pricing content into your Confluence pages. It reads public pricing data from ComparEdge as a page renders. It does not collect or store your personal data, and it does not read the content of your Confluence pages beyond placing the macro you insert.
How ComparEdge handles data across its services is set out in the ComparEdge Privacy Policy.
5. Pricing data
The prices shown by the app come from ComparEdge, which checks each figure against the vendor's own pricing page and dates it. Prices change often, and vendors control their own pricing. ComparEdge works to keep the data accurate but does not guarantee that every figure is current or complete. Use the app as a reference, not as a quote.
6. No warranty
The app is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. ComparEdge does not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted or error free.
7. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, ComparEdge is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or lost data, arising out of your use of the app. Because the app is free, ComparEdge's total liability to you for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid for it, which is zero.
8. Changes to these terms
ComparEdge may update these terms. When it does, it will change the effective date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised terms.
