Why ComparEdge exists
Most software comparison sites are built to generate affiliate revenue, not to help buyers. Rankings are paid for. Reviews are curated. Pricing data is months out of date. The sites that rank first in search results are often the least useful for actual procurement decisions.
ComparEdge was built from a different premise: the most useful thing we can do is publish accurate, current data and get out of the way. No editorial spin designed to drive clicks toward high-commission products. No ranking manipulation. No synthetic "best of" lists assembled from vendor marketing copy.
Software decisions are expensive. Bad ones are more expensive. We want to be the resource that helps people get this right.
