Sage Intacct pricing: the quick answer
Sage Intacct does not publish a price. As of July 2026 there is one Custom Quote plan, sold through a request form that asks your employee band, revenue band, and industry before a rep gives a number tailored to org size and modules. There is no free plan, only a product tour. The base covers core financials, the dimensional general ledger, and consolidation, while Planning, Analytics, and HCM are separately priced add-ons. Implementation runs through a certified partner, billed on top of the license.

Sage Intacct Hidden Costs & Pitfalls
There is no published rate to break down, so the cost story is the add-on modules stacked on the base and the setup Sage does not quote up front.

Positioning
Sage Intacct skips per-user pricing entirely for a single Custom Quote plan, so you cannot value it from the site. What the base includes is genuinely high-end: a dimensional general ledger, multi-entity and global consolidation, and automated revenue recognition with ASC 606 support. For a mid-sized business or nonprofit that needs real multi-entity reporting and project billing, that feature set justifies a serious accounting budget. For a smaller team that just needs a ledger, the entry point is far too steep, and there is no lightweight tier to step into.
Cost drivers
- 1Planning, Analytics, and Human Capital Management are separately priced modules, so the base quote is thinner than the full platform it appears to describe.
- 2Implementation runs through a certified partner and is billed on top, with quality that varies enough to turn a bad setup into prolonged, costly troubleshooting.
- 3There is no public rate card, which matters most at renewal.
Watch-outs
The sharpest complaint is renewal unpredictability. Some customers report extreme increases with little warning, and because the deal is custom there is nothing published to negotiate against.
Editor’s take
Sage Intacct is built for mid-sized organizations and nonprofits that need complex multi-entity consolidation and grant or project accounting, and that can carry a mid-market ERP budget across the base, the add-on modules, and the partner implementation. Price all three before you sign, and push for a renewal cap while the deal is still open. Teams that want straightforward, modular pricing should look at Odoo instead.
