Raydium pricing: the quick answer

Quick answerHigh· Verified July 8, 2026

Raydium has no subscription and no platform fee as of July 8, 2026; you pay a per-swap trading fee plus Solana network fees. Its Standard AMM pools charge a fixed 0.25% (0.22% to liquidity providers, 0.03% to RAY buyback). Its CLMM pools set the fee per pool at 0.01%, 0.05%, 0.25%, or 1.00%, and across all pool types the fee can run from 0.01% up to 4% depending on config. Creating a new pool costs a separate fee. The pool you route through, not any plan, sets your rate.

Raydium Hidden Costs & Pitfalls

What sits on top of the trading fee

The headline swap percentage is only part of it. A chunk of that fee is a protocol cut, and two more costs sit outside the swap fee entirely.

Protocol cut inside the swap fee
On a Standard AMM pool the 0.25% fee is not all yours as a provider: 0.22% reaches liquidity providers and 0.03% funds RAY buyback. On CLMM pools the split is 84% to providers, 12% to RAY buyback, and 4% to the treasury. So a provider quoting a pool's fee is really keeping most of it, but not the whole thing, and every trader is funding RAY on the side.
0.25% AMM (0.22% to LPs)
Pool-creation fee
Spinning up a new market on Raydium is not free. Launching a pool carries its own separate fee on top of ordinary swap costs, so a team standing up liquidity for a fresh token pays that one-time creation cost before a single swap fee is earned. Budget for it if you are the one seeding the pool rather than just trading an existing one.
rate not published (separate pool-creation fee)
Solana network fees
Every swap, deposit, and claim is an on-chain transaction, and Solana network fees are charged on top of the swap fee rather than folded into it. Solana's fees are low by design, so this rarely dominates the way Ethereum gas does elsewhere, but it is a real per-transaction cost that stacks on top of whatever the pool charges.

Raydium charges no subscription and no platform fee. The cost is a per-swap trading fee plus Solana network fees. Standard AMM pools are fixed at 0.25% (0.22% to providers, 0.03% to RAY buyback). CLMM pools set the fee per pool at 0.01%, 0.05%, 0.25%, or 1.00%, split 84% to providers, 12% to RAY buyback, 4% to treasury. Across all pool configs the fee can run from 0.01% up to 4%. Stablecoin desks live at the bottom of that range; exotic pairs at the top.

Cost drivers

  • 1A slice of every fee funds RAY buyback (0.03% of the 0.25% AMM fee, 12% of CLMM fees), so it is a protocol cut, not pure LP yield.
  • 2Pool-creation fees apply separately if you are the one seeding a new market.
  • 3Solana network fees pass through on top of the swap fee, though they stay low.

Watch-outs

Execution reliability is the recurring complaint. Trades glitch or fail during high-volume events like IDO launches, and the permissionless listing model exposes newer traders to unvetted tokens and pricing gaps.

Editor’s take

Stablecoin and major-pair liquidity providers should use the CLMM 0.01% and 0.05% tiers for capital efficiency and low slippage. Yield seekers on exotic pairs take the Standard AMM or CLMM 1% tier and accept the execution risk during congestion. Route deliberately; the pool sets the rate. For a different Solana venue with a cleaner swap UI, compare Orca.
